Workout attire on a budget

To me what I wear to the gym determines just how hard I'll work that day. I'm sure many of you guys can relate, whenever I look good, I feel good. Therefore when I am in that gym surrounded by mirrors it feels great to not only watch myself kick ass in my workout but to look at myself doing it and say "Damn this outfit is super cute." Let's be real, we're all like this. It's not because I'm trying to compare myself to others or have others look at me in the gym, it's just because it's something that motivates me! If you're not like this then that is fine! Everyone is different, some people couldn't care less what they work out in we're all different. But the main point is this all feels even better when I know I got my outfit on sale. Workout clothes can easily range from $5-$500. No joke, half the attire I see advertised on Instagram I go to look at only to find out its $100 over my budget for a pair of leggings. So here is a couple websites I use that you can use to look good in the gym without breaking the bank.

Forever 21
- When I tell people I shop at Forever 21 their first reaction is "Are you Crazy"? But once I clarify that while I am not brave enough to spend 3 hours in the mall in the Forever 21 store trying to figure out their algorithm to the way they merchandise, I sure am good at spending half an hour browsing through the store online. You would be surprised but I have gotten so many tops from here for such great prices. They have a ton of tank tops and crop tops and most of it is usually on clearance, leggings and shorts too! I always keep an eye out for the emails that tell me when clearance is an additional 50% off and I head straight to the athletic and active wear sections.
SHEIN
- If you've been or once you go to this website I am positive the price labels for the items will bring about more than a little skepticism however you actually can get decent items on this website if you are smart about it! They have customer reviews for each product where people will comment on how the item fit them, what size they got, the quality of it, and even sometimes upload pictures of them wearing the item. This way before you purchase something you can get the honest opinion of someone else who has purchased it.

GymShark
- While I can't bring myself to purchase a pair of leggings for $65 a piece from this store every now and then they do Warehouse Sales where I have gotten a pair of my favorite leggings for as cheap as $15. The last Warehouse Sale I purchased 4 pairs of leggings for $80 total. This is amazing for how great these leggings are. Hands down they are the best I have ever worn and my favorite to wear to the gym. They stay on, don't fall down while I'm running, fit great, and they're super cute and comfy. On my Instagram I usually post whenever they are having a sale so keep an eye out for that.
Victoria Secret
- So this one is a give or take, along with what I think for GymShark. Sometimes you can find a great deal on some leggins and other times they will be $60 a pair. What I do for Victoria Secret is wait for Semi-annual sales or other promotions they offer towards leggings and tanktops. Then when that time comes around I will usually buy a couple pairs and stock up. It's all about patience for this one but I'm telling you it's worth it because the quality is pretty dang good. The leggings I am wearing in the first picture on this post from the previous Semi Annual sale! And currently they have Bogo 50% off certain bras and 50% off select leggings!

- The Lightweight by Victoria Secret Bra $29. 50 (Sports bras are currently BOGO 50% Off on their site!)

Marshalls
I have gotten some of my favorite workout tanks I own from Marshalls for under $15. They are great because they always have high name brands for cheap Nike, Adidas, Puma, ect. It's a hit or miss when you go to their store whether you'll walk out with something you like but it's definitely worth the try so I highly recommend to peek through their racks for a bargain.
So this is it for now but I plan to update this posts as I find more and more places to find workout attire on a budget, so stay tuned and keep an eye out!
